Back to School

I know the one thing that is on everyone’s mind right now is the decision to send your child to school or not. Although this post isn’t about that I thought I would let you all know what we have decided since alot of you have asked.

At the beginning of the year, I was struggling with what school to put Hudson in for Kindergarten. Long story short I decided to enroll him in a private Kinder class. One of the biggest reasons was the small class size (as they put a limit) and it is only half days. Even after I paid my deposit I struggled with if it was the right decision or not.

Fast forward to today and I am so thankful God aligned everything out. I have decided to send Hudson to Kindergarten as planned. As of right now, unless our governor pushes back the start date, there is no remote learning and he will attend school in person. I am comfortable at this point sending him as it is a very small class size, only half days, and there are only two other (preschool) classes in the entire school which they never cross paths with. Remember everyone situation is completely different and every decision is a hard one. And no matter the decision you make or another mother makes...support her! You don’t know all the factors that come into play.

Do I worry? Absolutely, put I will just pray over him every single day and trust God.

Anyways, now to the fun stuff. No matter what, school is starting somehow and we can still make it exciting and fun for our kids the best we can. If Hudson was staying home I would still be doing all the fun “back to school” stuff I am currently doing to get him prepared. I encourage you to do the same. Get them a lunch box and still pack their lunch. Go (or pick up) school supplies, get them a new outfit or two. It gives them something to look forward to.

I am linking everything I have currently gotten Hudson below to hopefully be a resource to you. Lots of loves to you all. And you are doing a great job mama!
