Today, my little miracle turns 4! I honestly can't believe it and it has been the best 4 years of my life!
For those of you who don't know, I had the hardest time trying to get pregnant, you can read the full story here and it is by the miracle working hand of God that he is here and celebrating a 4th birthday.
There is nothing like a mother's love, but there is an extremely special bond between a mother a child who have gone through what we have gone through. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to endure, but I would do it all over again.
Because this is Hudson's day, I thought I would share 4 of my favorite things about him.
1. Such a mamas boy: And that is probably obvious and I love it! He has been my sidekick since he was born and I hope it stays like that. And the way he loves me is beyond. He has such a gentle heart towards me and if I get hurt, he constantly will check on me...even if its days later. I love that for no reason at all, he will just come up and hug my neck and give me a kiss. Not to mention the best snuggler ever!
2. Too smart and hilarious: Hudson has always been extremely smart (sometimes too smart for his own good), but he is also HILARIOUS! The best thing he does right now, is make these awkward faces on purpose just to make me laugh.
3. Shy: It may not seem like it, but if you were to see Hudson and I out and start to talk to him, he would just hide behind me. A lot of people mistake it as he is mad or in a bad mood which he rarely is, just because he is so shy, but I love that he is his own person and it will be fun to watch him grow and see if it will stay with him.
4. Loves his worship music. I remember when I was pregnant with Hudson, I would put on my belly buds and just let him listen to worship music all day. And the first thing he asks for as soon as we get in the car is for his 4 favorite worship songs that we have to listen to over and over again. And he will sing every word at the top of his lungs (but he would never do that in front of any one else!).
