Halloween Fun for Kiddos

Bat Balloon (only $5)
Halloween Cauldron (used for goodies) on sale for less than $3

With Halloween around the corner, I thought I would share some fun inspiration for the kiddos. I am a HUGE holiday FREAK. And Hudson is the same way. These are the times that really make special memories or traditions. And if you don't have a tradition, it's not too late to start!

I love to put together something special for each of the holidays. Whether it be a breakfast or lunch, or a playdate. Don't think you have to break the bank either to do something fun and cute. A lot of this stuff is from Target and the Target dollar spot. I usually do this the day of the Holiday, but if your kids are in school, you can do it the Saturday before Halloween. This way you can enjoy the morning/day with the kiddos and not feel like you are rushing out the door.

As soon as I saw these plates, napkins, and cups my heart got so giddy! Aren't they just the cutest ever!!! Anyways, I just grabbed a few little things (and some I already had from past years) and just put it all together. I love putting together a small goody bag for Hudson, so he has something to open. Gifts is my love language...so I give and receive love through gifts. And minus the bucket (which is on sale for $3!) I got little things that we ALL a dollar. So don't feel like you have to give them something major, just a little something to open.

If you have more than one child, do one big goody bag for them all the share with. It could even be a few snacks and candy.

I usually do donuts for these special events, since Hudson doesn't get them often, and it makes it a little more special. It also eliminates me having to cook/bake and MESS FREE (Hallelujah).

After Hudson eats his breakfast treat, we will do a craft or fun project (I should have included some pictures..sorry). Again, target has great little painting/craft things for cheap for kids. This year, I went to Michaels and got a wood "Spooky" sign that he can paint. And of course, decorating a pumpkin! Hudson really isn't at that age to enjoy carving a pumpkin. So we go to the store and pick out a pumpkin and then he can paint and decorate it. Here are some great decorating kits.

I hope you enjoyed this. I am also linking everything in the widget below.
