Happy Birthday Hudson Brave!

Today our little miracle boy turns 3!

I don't know where to begin with this little boy. He is my sidekick and still very much a hip hugger. And I love it!

To save this blog post from being a novel, I will just sum up three things Hudson has taught me in these last three years.

1. Miracles Happen. I may say it a hundred times and I will continue to say it. Hudson is our little miracle and truly a visual of what persistent faith, God, and never giving up can do. Miracles do happen...keep believing for yours.

2. Pause: Life is not an emergency. Hudson has taught me to pause in the middle of the busy, crazy, and full life and just be in the moment. To enjoy the moment and not worry about what task I need to accomplish next. Moments are moments and we can never get that exact moment back.

3. Actions speak louder than words. Oh man, this has worked to my advantage. Like when I create an atmosphere in our home to worship and thank God for everything. Hudson has picked up on it and it makes my heart so happy to see him doing it on his own. However, I am by no means perfect and this has worked against me. Like the one time I said s*** when I hurt myself, he then said it later on when he got hurt and I wanted to cry! People will never remember what you say, but they will always remember what you did and how you made them feel. He is always watching and it is my job to teach him the way with my actions.
