I don't know what it is, but I always feel like Easter is like a mini Christmas. We take a moment a celebrate the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for each of us. If there is one thing I want Hudson to know more than anything else in this world, it is that there is a God in Heaven who loves him unconditionally and cares about every little detail of his life. And that is reason enough in our home to celebrate.

Most of you know that I am a big holiday person/mama. I guess you can say I get it from my mama. She always made holidays and events so special for us. One thing I knew I would pass on to my children.

Every Easter, we would wake up with an amazing 5 star breakfast. Hudson isn't a big breakfast eater, but I will still make him something fun. And I always love to decorate his area to make it special and fun.

One tradition that was so memorable for us and one that my brothers and I have passed down to our kids, is my mom  would hid our Easter baskets. We would wake up with hints and glues to go a find it. It was so much fun and I am so excited to do that this year with Hudson. He is old enough where he would get it and love it... (hopefully!)

I went to Target and bought some large eggs, big enough so Hudson would notice them and where I could fit some hidden glues (I just made on my computer and printed them out). I only did a total of 4 glues, the last one being the golden egg revealing where the Easter basket is. Older kids you can make it longer with more glues. It is almost like a little scavenger hunt.

I would love to know what some of your Easter traditions are...leave them in the comments below!
