Welcome to Brave Blonde!
I'm sure the blonde part is pretty obvious, but some of you may not know my story. As a little girl, my greatest dream was to become a mommy. I knew that was what I was meant to do in life. As soon as I got my married, my husband and I decided to start trying right away to have a baby. Well, month after month, no baby. Six months pasted and still nothing. Then a year. This went on for two years. The hardest and most devastating journey I had to walk out. I finally got the strength and courage to see a specialist. I was in and out of the doctor's office for months doing test after test. Some that were so painful, I didn't know if it was even worth it. One day, I was sitting in a meeting at work and I received that dreaded phone call. It was my doctor's office calling me to tell me they need me to come in to go over my test results. I felt like I was in a movie, where your standing in the middle and your whole world is spinning around you. I felt like I had left my body. I pulled myself together and walked back into my meeting until it was finished. I grabbed my keys and got into my car and just lost it. I couldn't breathe. I had no idea what news I was about to receive and what journey I was going to have to walk out. As I turned on my car to head to the doctor, a song titled "You Make Me Brave" was on the radio. There was something about it that just put me at ease. I grabbed onto that bravery and walked into the doctor's office.
As you can see, we got our miracle baby!! And that is where he gets his name, Hudson Brave. And that is where I came up with Brave Blonde.
