I feel like this sweater was just made for my little Hudson. Seriously, stuck to my side 24/7! But, I'm sure we can all agree that our kids are always at our side. That's motherhood. And honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Lately, I have been thinking about how different my life was prior to Hudson. Working a 40 plus hour job, managing and keeping up a house, running errands super quick,  sleeping in, taking a nap, and enjoying a warm cup of coffee. Even though in that season of my life I felt super busy (I was, just a different kind of busy) looking back I wonder what I did with all that free time, haha!

But in all seriousness, there was something missing. I didn't have a little sidekick. And now I wouldn't change it. I love having this little guy with me. I love that he misses me when I have to shower so he comes in with me and just plays with his trucks on the edge of the tube. I love finding toys under the couch and in random places all over the house or in my boots. My favorite so far, I woke up the other morning and when I went to go grab my toothpaste it was missing, I thought I had just misplaced it, so I grabbed another one from the hall closest. When Hudson woke up I went in to go get him and I didn't turn on the light so it wouldn't be so bright and I knew I stepped on something, just figure it was a toy. When I turned on the light and looked down there was the toothpaste and all over the rug. Lovely... But it is things like that which most people find annoying, that I find great joy in. I'm so thankful for my little guy and this job called motherhood. I may not be as quick with my errands, or enjoy my coffee warm, and have laundry all over, but I am happy and that is what is the most important.

Have a wonderful day!
