Work Out Mommy









I have always made working out a priority, but I am not a die hard. Nor do I track what I eat...I probably should though. Before and while I was pregnant with Hudson I would work out first thing in the morning for at least 45 minutes, 5 days a week. I was very particular about working out during my pregnancy, because I knew the importance of keeping my body moving and THOSE SQUATS! I truly believe that is what help with my labor and delivery.

Once I had Hudson I defiantly enjoyed not working out for those 6 weeks, but couldn't wait to lose my baby weight and fit into my old clothes. I quickly learned that with a newborn and a first time mommy that I would need to make adjustments! With waking up for night time feedings, getting up early to workout was not an option. You momma's know what I am taking about. It took me about 6 months to figure out a schedule for both me and Hudson. When Hudson is awake, I try and make the most of that time with him, plus working out with him awake and no one to watch him is just hilarious. Right now, I do a 20-30 minute workout at home. Honestly, I just don't have the time to do anything more than that. I also have to keep a house up, laundry, dinner, and all other mommy duties. 
Also, I have never been a "gym" person. Even before Hudson, I have always prefered to workout at home at my connivence. I do my workouts during Hudson's nap time, if I have Abrielle I wait until Hudson is down for the night. Working out at night was a huge struggle for me at first, but I never know what time Hudson will wake up and once he is down for the night he is down, plus I am learning to just go with the flow and do what works for us. 

Anyways, I have tired many brands of activewear over the years and honestly I LOVE both Forever 21 and Target brands the best. They are inexpensive, do the job, and super cute! I mean I wear them even when I'm not working out...what mom doesn't?!
