Halloween Lunch

I decided earlier this week that I wanted to do something special for the kids (Hudson, my son and Abrielle, my niece, who I watch a couple times a week). We had been on the go all week with getting things ready for my mom's club Halloween party so I wanted something a little more intimate with the kids at home. It took longer to put the whole thing together than the actual lunch, but we had so much fun doing it together! Even, the cake that didn't survive (I am not a cook or a baker, but I tried!)  So the kids threw on their costumes and we had lunch outside (still in the 90's here..ugh) In the end, we had a blast and the kids felt special and now I think this will be a tradition each year that I will eagerly look forward too.

Mummy Cup: I just took a mason jar and wrapped gauze around it and glued 2 little eyes on it.

Food:
1. PB&J Sandwiches: Used a circle cookie cutter to cut bread, spread PB&J, add stick pretzels for legs, and 2 chocolate chips for eyes.

2. Pumpkin Cuties: Took "cuties" and put a little piece of celery in the middle and added some leaves to make it look like a pumpkin.

3. Pumpkin Poo: Cheese Puffs

4. Candy Apples: store bought (haha)
