Happy 1st Birthday Hudson!
Ah, I can't believe it's been a whole year. Hudson has made my greatest dream come true and this has been the best year of my entire life.
Hudson was such a God sent from heaven since the beginning. To not being able to have him, to getting him, to no morning sickness and the best pregnancy, to the fastest labor and delivery (you can read his birth story here) to a great sleeper, eater, and the happiest boy.
I feel like I have so much to say, but at a loss for words. Hudson is my pride and my joy and everywhere we go he lights up a room. I love how he makes the sweetest faces at people passing by. I love how excited he gets and the noises he make when he see birds. I love how when I am holding him, for no reason at all he puts his face in mine and gives me the biggest smile. I love how whenever I nurse him to sleep, he rubs my arm and then holds my hand until he falls asleep. Some nights I have so much to do, but I will just sit and continue to rock you because I know it won't last forever. It's those moments that make motherhood and being his mommy the BEST!
As you may have already seen, Hudson is walking and is everywhere! He still LOVES to be held and I'm perfectly okay with that. He eats pretty much anything and everything (hope it stays that way) and still takes two naps a day. He loves anything that is a ball and always carries around his "bam bam" which is his mini MBL baseball bats (don't worry they are soft).
He says "all done" and "please" in sign language...still working on the "thank you". His favorite word right now is "Whoah!" Still has yet to say "mama," but that's okay because I know he loves me the most (wink).
We fought so hard for him, in and out of the Doctor's office, test after test, medication after medication. But I would go through all the pain and hurt again for him. Happy Birthday my miracle boy!
